Greg has a rich background of over 30 years in youth ministry, church administration and Christian education. Before coming to the North Georgia Church of God Executive Office in 2006, he served as the Director of Youth & Discipleship in four states/regions: Southern Ohio, Virginia, Delmarva-DC and California-Nevada. On the local level, Greg has always been passionate about student ministries and discipleship. He greatly enjoyed the years he served as youth pastor at the Princeton Pike Church of God in Hamilton, Ohio, and the Mt. Olive Church of God in Cleveland, Tennessee.
A graduate of The Church of God Theological Seminary and Lee University, Greg has served on several national boards and committees; these include: the International Discipleship Divisional Board, National Youth & Christian Education Board, National Singles Board, Smoky Mountain Winterfest Committee and President of the National Youth Leaders Association (NYLA). In addition, he served as Chairman of three regional Winterfest Committees: Midwest, Premier and Pacific Coast.
Greg has a passion to teach, mentor and coach the students and youth leaders of this generation. As an educator, he served as an adjunct faculty instructor for Lee University, West Coast Christian College and the National Bible College, in Washington, D.C.
He is supported in his calling by his wife, Jan, who works alongside him as his Administrative Assistant. Their oldest son, Gregory Brandon, is serving in the Peace Corps in Nicaragua. Their youngest son, Adam, and his wife, Jessie, are the Student Pastors at the North Cleveland Church of God in Tennessee. Adam and Jessie have three children, Eva, Collin and Liam.
