USA Missions

And Evangelism

USA Missions is a ministry of the Church of God World Evangelization Division in Cleveland, TN.  We desire to encourage, resource, facilitate, support and equip local churches and their leaders through this ministry. We believe that healthy churches and ministries begin with healthy leaders who find their identity in the Gospel of Jesus and are dependent on the Spirit of God. Our aim is to be a catalyst for leaders and churches to better reach their communities with the good news of the Gospel.   Projects under the umbrella of USA Missions include Church Planting, Revitalization, Amalgamation, Affiliation, Smoky Mountain Jubilee, Jail and Prison Ministry, and Women in Ministry.  For more information, contact Greg Baird at 770-274-1154 or

Prison Ministry

Isaiah 61 states that “The Spirit of the Lord Jehovah is upon me; because Jehovah hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the broken-hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening (of the prison) to them that are bound…”

Prison Ministry is not just a ministry to inmates but a ministry to the Lord. The North Georgia Church of God Prison Ministry currently is present at 4 regional youth detention centers, 9 county jails, 14 state prisons, and 3 federal prisons. For more information, please feel free to reach our State Prison Ministry Coordinator, Danny Smith, at 770-271-2781 or

Men and Women of Action

Men and Women of Action (MWOA) provides an opportunity for men and women to volunteer their skills in building projects and disaster relief. Even though the main emphasis is construction teams, they also work with medical, humanitarian and Christmas teams.

Church Planting

We believe church planting is the best way for us to reach lost people. We are saved today because someone decided to plant a church. We have a proven model that is culturally relevant and highly successful. We are committed to “keeping Christianity alive in America” and church planting is a major part of this effort. For more information or to receive your free copy of our church planting manual, contact our State Ministries Director, Greg Baird, at 770-274-1154 or
